Less than a year and weve had our marvel Ice maker replaced 3 times. Now a month after the third one it too is now broken. I dont know if there could possibly be a worse brand of anything than marvel. DO NOT BUY.

I would NOT recommend this company. They DO NOT stand behind their products.

We purchased a Marvel Beverage Fridge for $1300 (+ tax) and within a year, the handle became extremely flimsy and tattled. When I tried to find the allen screw head to tighten the handle (like the way most fridge handles work), I could not find the it anywhere under the rubber seal. I contacted Marvel to see what I was missing and they told me that this product is a one-and-done product - meaning that I would have to purchase a new door because the handle became loose and they can't guarantee that it would not happen again.

I have never heard of this before - especially for an expensive product like this. Ridiculous.

The Plant Director offered me a 50% discount on purchasing a new door ($828). The door apparently costs over half the cost of the whole fridge. SAY WHAT? I would not recommend another product from Marvel.

They do not stand by their products. This is an at-home fridge with minimal use and should not have come ajar that quickly. What's more frustrating is you can see the screw, but not able to make tighter because it is in the glass pane. Will never use them again and would not recommend.

Additionally, shared this feedback with the retail store that I purchased from as well.

The store agreed that they don't want to be known for selling a brand that does not have a strong customer support team with the ability to fairly problem solve. The only person worth talking to was the Lead Technician who did what he could to get us a fair deal - to no avail.

Preferred solution: I would like a new door for my Marvel beverage fridge due to a faulty handle that is not able to be secured. I would have had to purchase a new door for a large cost.

Waiting for a call from senior management

Ice grid broke 2 months out of warranty. After multiple calls they sent me one and told me to put it in myself.

After taking the other one out I noticed some residue behind where the ice tray and area to be cleaned was. So I removed the shield and loosened water reservoir only to find standing water and mold in and behind the water reservoir on the back wall of the unit. There is NO WAY to clean this area nor does any of the cleaning instructions mention this HEALTH RISK!!! Marvel has so far refused to address this and I have an ice maker that is not working, in my coffee bar cabinetry.

$3,800 for an icemaker!!! And I forgot to mention, in the first year and a half I had two service calls for problems. Problems do happen but this kind of (-) customer service is unacceptable.

Going into the holidays I have a moldy $3,800 ice maker. And the time I have spent on this issue...

Stopped working just after 5 years. Tried to have it serviced twice, 2 different companies. Neither could access point of leak. Paid a total of $960 and still without a working Marvel Beverage fridge for over 3 years now. $4200 to replace. Reached out to Marvel for helpthey wont. Only suggested another service company! Rediculous.

Marvel has refused to address the noise problem and I had to pay for the last service call on August 2nd so I will be reporting Marvel to the Better Business Bureau so other consumers who are considering purchasing any Marvel products are aware that they do not stand behind their products.

I purchased a Marvel ML15CPS2LS1 ice maker and it makes so much noise that I have to get rid of it. Marvel will not honor any further service calls to try and repair it so if you are considering buying any products from Marvel be forewarned. Marvel products are crap and you should look at other manufacturers.

Marvel is the worst for noise and repairs. Compressors replaced for both fridge and freezer. Agree with all these reviews.

Evaporator fan motors not working

I purchased a $2200 Marvel dual zone wine cooler in 2017. In the first year, the fans froze. Since it was under warranty, the company fixed it. In the next two years, I've had 2 parts fail. Since it was "way out of warranty" (per the company), I had to pay for repairs and parts. The out of pocket costs were $600. The sensors have since stopped working (within 2 months of being replaced.) Marvel will replace the parts but I have to pay the labor charge. I'm done spending money on this piece of junk.

I was seduced by the Marvel under-the-counter's appearance. Should have checked the reviews. Primitive to defrost. Bar fell off in-door storage (I've now secured it with Gorilla glue and duct tape...attractive!!) Freezer door doesn't close properly (when I complained about that I was given a Big Hustle). Local service people were surly and expensive ($169 for service call and no action). My ACME under-the-counter served me well for 31 years. I hope my Marvel dies soon.

Bad wine cooler door

This wine fridge has been installed in our summer house less than two years and the door is condensated. When we called we were told it was out of warranty and it would be $600.00 to replace the door. This is totally unacceptable. It has to be a defect and should be replaced free of charge.

I have a Marvel undercounted refrigerator and it keeps beeping saying the door has been left open even though it is closed. I've had it for 2 years and the sensor has been replace once and now it needs to be replaced again.

I will NEVER EVER buy another Marvel product. It's to the point that I can't even use it at night as I know I will have to get up 4-5 times to try to stop the beeping.

DO NOT BUY A MARVEL UNDERCOUNTER REFRIGERATOR. If the company can't make a sensor that last more than a year they should not use a sensor in the refrigerator.

I'll replace it once more and it only last a year I'll have to just get a new refrigerator and it's will not be a Marvel. See image for model and serial number.

I have the same problem. The door beeps constantly indicating it is not closed properly.

This is a problem with the sensor, not the door. Marvel should do a work around and offer a replacement part, like an auto manufacturer routinely recalls certain vehicles to replace a sensor.

2 year old wine refrigerator that compressor failed. Spent $1400 on this. No longer covered will cost $700 with labor to replace. I bought this because my friend bought the same. Hers lasted 6 months but was still under warranty so they fixed hers. This product should last many years at this price. Most all complaints are compressor broke. Sarcastic Sad Wtf Wtf Wtf

6 foot side by side Marvel refrigerator

Have been without a freezer since the refrigerator was installed November 15, 2018. Refrigerator door came with a dent and the rest of the door is very wavy. Freezer door was dented by technician when he came to assess the freezer Sarcastic . Freezer compressor is not working still … and I have had technicians to my house twice. Doors have been ordered, but still not in. Shrug

Bught a 42 inch built in side by side. Have had one major problem after the other. The ice machine replaced, the door replaced, a leg fell off! Yes I said a leg fell off. The compressor went out. It's very noisy. And it's only 4 years old. The Warrenty has convered everything, but it's a piece of junk. If I can't get an extended warranty from the company, I'll wait until it breaks again (will be very soon based on past performance) have it hauled to the dump and start over.
